We had a great time at Clear Lake, Wisconsin outside Woodruff. We had two beautiful days appropriate for the beach. We had quite a crew up there, Bob and Cindy, Tony, Alex, and Colleen, as well as Levi, their cousin, Laura and my folks. Sunday, we had the grand brat barbeque – everyone had brought bratwurst so we had a potluck supper together. Today, we started heading home and reached the Amana colonies in Iowa. The highlight of the day was a great German dinner at the Colony House in Amana, our traditional place to eat here. A Canadian Sunset (Price Edward Island)
We should be home in two days. We certainly learned a lot about Canadian government and history. It was weird seeing America as the aggressor in the Revolutionary War and War of 1812. A lot of beautiful scenery, but we never saw a moose. The highlight had to be Nova Scotia, even though we spent the most time here, we saw just a fraction of the scenery, history, and sights. We’ll have to return
